Siegfried Jost Casper

Lifetime Achievement Award

Professor Dr. Siegfried Jost Casper is the recipient of the 2021 ICPS Lifetime Achievement Award for his significant impact on the understanding of the genus Pinguicula and his continuous scientific contributions in this field, which led to numerous publications on Pinguicula, including several new species described by him, an elaborate monograph, as well as several taxonomic, morphological, and cytological treatments of the genus.
